Re: can't complete registration process:
(a) empty the cache (check out Onyx, available through www.versiontracker.c=
om);
(b) allow sites to open pop-up windows;

Alternately, if a and b don't work:
(c) try http://www.GetFirefox.com and download FireFox;
(d) try http://www.Caminobrowser.org and download Camino (a more
polished cousin to FireFox... though, FF is improving);
(e) upgrade to OS X 10.4 (the new Safari supports a greater range of
web standards).

Re: Internet Explorer 5.2 and security
IE is no more or less secure than any other browser*. You can use it
without worrying about your info being high-jacked! You're at far
greater danger from unscrupulous site operators who might steal your
identity or people who break into your house and happen to get a hold
of some valuable ID (driver's licence, passport, credit cards, SIN
card, etc.).

*Microsoft spreads FUD (fear-uncertainty-doubt) about (free/libre)
open source software (F/L-OSS) but many MS-haters or OSS fanatics also
spread unfounded FUD about MS.

Eric.
