Clapp Park is pretty slow so far today. I started at 11 and finished around 2.
Highlights included a pretty Robin bathing, a singing Green Heron that took me
forever to figure out, at least 3 Yellow Warblers that did not make themselves
known until the sun came out during the last hour, and a female Ladder-backed
Woodpecker that Kathy Heppert told me about and I was able to find on my way
out :) Thanks and welcome to the group, Kathy!
I tried to record the Green Heron and will add it to my list this afternoon if
it came out. Sounded like it was across the playa but when I finally saw it, it
was right in front of me!
