Yes we have a projection unit so you can bring a laptop. We also have a
laptop with PowerPoint.

What I would like to see is how Geocaching can be used both with and without
a GPSr. Ideas for future programs would be great. Maybe some basic GPS info
but mainly how it ties into map and compass.

The Objective should be..

Familiarize Leaders with Geocaching
Introduce GPS technology
Show how this can be done with Topo Map and Compass
Games and Events associated with Geocaching (Like Multicaching, Virtual,
Puzzles, Daryl and Daryl, etc..)
Talk about the St. Louis Area Geocachers Association and the Website.
Our District Website is www.boonetrails.org

If you need more than 20 minutes, No prob.. I can bump the next presenter to
next Month (ME :-))

I just want to have the leaders aware that there is an outdoor activity that
they can have their Scouts participate in. Even if only one of the leaders
in a unit has a GPSr, then I think that they will take the initiative to get
the Boys involved in Geocaching. I know some Scouts who could find a
majority of these with Map and Compass.

Thanks!
Mike
