- SD is by design faster than CF.(?) Could be, but I hadn't heard that before. In any case, I have a SanDisk 256mb 'Ultra' CF card that I occasionally throw some music on and have never noticed any problem with that. There are different speed cards within the CF lineup as a whole, and I *think* this 'Ultra' designation was one of the earlier improvements. Could be that you wound up with one of the earliest versions of CF.(?) -= Russ =- (BottomFeeder) > -----Original Message----- > From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Binder > Sent: Sunday, December 28, 2003 10:27 > To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR: SD vs. CF > > > - > Thanks glenn...I knew that SecureDigital was faster...now to > figure out why my compactflash isn't as fast. :-) > > ~Chris > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Glenn" <Glenn@xxxxxxxxxx> > To: <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "Geocaching Newsgroup" > <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, December 28, 2003 10:22 AM > Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR: SD vs. CF > > > > - > > I do not know the specific answer to your question but I have a 256 > > meg Sandisk SD card that i play music from all the time and > it works > > well for me in the Toshibia... > > > > glenn > > > > At 10:16 AM 12/28/2003, Chris Binder wrote: > > > > > I have a Dell Axim and I have a 256 MB Sandisk CompactFlash > > > card.
