Hi
You do need to use the safely remove command first though, that is Enter with E.

Hi, Sam means, don't remove the SD, that's under the battery. You can safely
remove the card, that's at the back of the touch.

Hi Sam,
If you read her message carefully, you will notice that she put the SD card in
her computer after her Touch had a melt-down because she couldn't do anything
in the Touch.
Also, if we can't put the Touch SD cards into our computers, how can we export
files into the Touch, since we can't use the USB port to plug in a card reader?
That's what I understood Kim Loftis to say on the audio tutorial. I haven't
put any of my files in yet.
Blessings,
Linda

This is unfortunate that this happened to you. HumanWare states explicitly
that you should never stick the internal storage SD card from the Touch into a
computer and that doing so can cause damage. The way to recover from this
would have been to hold down the home button while the Touch is booting up and
select "erase data/perform factory reset" and then rebooting the Touch.
However from your description it sounds as though you had some hardware
failures.

Dear braillenote users. its Mayson hear. I would like to inform you that my
braillenote odcasts will have to be put on hold yet again. this is due to my
touch having a melt down, litterally. Friday night I used my device as normal.
then saturday morning, when I tried to unlock my device. it did not unlock.
also my device felt not burning hot to the touch, but hot enough to know that
something must have over heated. I am going back to my center whear I got the
unit, and calling humanware their. if its fixible their then now problem. if
not I'll have to send it back and get a replacement unit. also when I unlocked
the diice it did not unlock I killed it. tried to reboot it and kesoft failed
to boot. the dot stopped spinning 30 seconds in. and so in utter desperation,
I brought the catd over to my computer and now I reformatted the card. so
let's see what humanware says tomorrow. Aloha, Mayson.
