You're not the only one, and I'm sure I'm not either. I was taking my EOC tests a while back and we were printing out my answer documents. I found that saving my work was really important before hand and I always made sure I was at the main menu before I went to print option. For me, I would simply plug the printer in first while the BN was turned off and then turned it back on. We didn't have any issues then. But if I plugged it in while it was on it would freeze and I would have to reset like you. Make sure that your printer is online too, sometimes that make a difference.
