Hi all, today I was going to try out my Apex as a braille display with Jaws 17 on a windows 10 laptop. I downloaded the braille driver and USB driver without any issues. I installed the braille driver and when I was trying to set up the USB driver the computer stopped talking to me. I ended up turning off my laptop with the power button and restarted it. When it came back up it did the windows starting sound but Jaws never started talking. I got my mum to come and have a look and my computer and she got me through the log on screen and then saw Jaws start. Even though the jaws window was up there was no speech. I tried to start Narrator but I couldn't get it to work. I then opened a game I have on my desktop which uses the same voice as narrator and it works fine. When I tried to start Narrator my mum had gone so I don't know if anything came up on screen. I may have had the command for Narrator wrong because it has been a long time since I have had the need to use it.

I am running windows 10 and Jaws 17 latest version. I downloaded the drivers today from humanware so they are the latest. The humanware website says it works with windows 10 and Jaws 17.

I'm hoping someone has a suggestion to get Jaws talking again because I need to get the braille display to work for a test I want to do.

Thanks.
