Hi Son
Here's some information from Greg that hopefully will help you!
By the way, has this update happened yet?
Greg sent this about a month or more ago?

Here's Greg's message
Hello Peter
I was about to leave the office for today but just saw your message. When you power down the device for 15 seconds, it is the equivalent of hard shutting down a PC. You always run the risk of corrupting your hard drive just as on a pc when you hold the power button. This sounds like what has happened in your case. To fix this you will need to factory reset the device using our support menu. This will not be necessary after the update to version 1,01 coming very soon. In the future if possible, always hold the power button to bring up the shut down menu and choose to power off from there.
To factory reset via the support menu, do the following:
1.  Ensure the Touch has charged past 50 percent.
2. unplug it from the wall and hold power and home button until you receive a vibration
3. Continue holding them for a couple seconds after the vibration, then Release power but continue holding home until you see the menu appear on the display. "Press home for options. Press home
4. Press the far right thumb key until you find Wipe datast factory reset and activate it with the router key
5. Navigate down using the far right thumb key to the partician which says Yes after you go past several that say "No" and activate it with the router key
I believe it will then wipe your data and restart. If it does not, then press the router key on the reboot option.
As I say, this will wipe your data completely but will leave you with a perfectly working internal storage. After 1,01 we have a system check option from this menu which allows you to check for any corruption and fix it.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Subject: [BNU] BN Touch has been biton by the freeze bug at boot up. Please.

Helo all.

This has been brought up before, but Looks like my bn touch has been bit
by the nasty bug whare the unit freezes during the boot up prosses. I
get the spining dot, but then after about about a minute it just shows a
simble of sorts. I know someone on the list had this problem, but not
sure what they did to fix it.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
