Hi Micky,

But if I do that won't it replace the word that was in the first tab with Carly? How can I get Early in the first tab in order to correct it in the second tab?

Thanks.

Hi, Bud.

In the rank-spelling dialogue, the second tab is "Replace with". If you write Carly in at that point, then choose replace all, Early will be replaced with Carly throughout that document. Of course, if the word Early really does come up, it will be Carly. Good luck.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] spelling correction

Hi gang,

I just finished scanning a book and there's a girl's name in it Carly and about half of the time it shows up as Early. How can I change that so it will be Carly every time? I go into rank spelling but don't see any way of adding your own word to correct. I haven't used rank spellling before and am just trying to get acquainted with how it works but am still learning. Thanks for any help.
