Oops, you are absolutely correct Allison. I withdraw immediately my
recommendation to rerate the book. And am copying claire accordingly.

Profound abject scraping grovelling sniveling apologies!

Hi E,

I validated the below book, Working. I did edit it to excellent quality in
terms of
correcting scanning errors. As you say, 30 pages isn't too much to
spell-check and such.

However, I had another reason for rating it good. While it is technically
correct, the text doesn't make a lot of sense without the corresponding
pictures. Since the pictures are not described, the story is a bit
fragmented. I thought about rejecting the book out-right, but there really
wasn't anything technically wrong with it. It was technically correct in
that it had no scanning errors, contained all page breaks, etc. So Claire
and I had a conversation about this book and together we concluded that
what we'd do with the book is to accept it into the collection and rate it
as good.

That might not have been what others here would have done, but after careful
thought, that's what we've decided.

I agree with you in that putting high quallity books on the site, especially
in the case of children's books, is very important and that's what we all
try to do.

I hope this clears things up.

Best,
