Hey Evan,
    That's printed in a lot of books, in fact it usually counts down from 10. I 
think it might have something to do with the edition or printing or something 
along those lines. BTW it doesn't always start with 10 and end with 1, but that 
is a common example.

  A very trivial question, but on several books I've checked lately, at the 
bottom of the page with the copyright info and ISBN and so forth is written:
  0 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

  Anyone know what that's about?

  Just wondering.
