Thanks Sarah, at least I know it's not me (smile).
Kurzweil should read the three stars when you are reading continuously. I don't know why it doesn't read them when you try to read the line they are on when nothing else is on that line.
You can read them character by character, though. It's not your settings, it just behaves that way.
