Do you know when the upgrade should be shipped, approximately, I bought
9 as a full product in November last year, and I am not asking for an
exact date, just want to know when to be on the watch for it.

Version 10 was announced at the summer shows, but the web site won't be
entirely updated until later this month, when it starts shipping.
Updates
from any release of Kurzweil 1000 (or Omni 1000, since it was called

for the first few releases) to version 10 are $95, plus something, I
suspect, for shipping. You can order an upgrade by calling sales at
800-894-5374 or 781-276-0600.
Note that if you bought version 9 as a full product, not as an upgrade,
then version 10 should be shipped to you automatically for free.
