LOL, that is a hoot! Well, lemme see, I don't know much about romances, don't read them often, but the more modern ones tend to be on the violent and explicit side. I like gothics myself, romances with a mystery. BTW, have you discovered Nancy Atherton? If you haven't, you should! The first in her searies is Aunt Dimity's Death, and it is a romance with a bit of gentle gothic in it. Great author, warm, wonderful and fuzzy. Also try the Miss Read books, the ones about Thrush Green. They're English regionals. Good luck. All my suggestions are not violent and they're all warm fuzzies.
