Yes, G. Cindy, I agree that for Jackie, reading light romances and historical fiction might be good. I used to retreat back into Tolkien and C.S. Lewis when I needed escape reading. These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer is a good Regency if you like that sort of thing. Reading anything which is totally different from life as it is now, works. Somehow, I don't think Jackie would like romances, but maybe I'm wrong. Hey, the Science Fiction book club is reading Lucifer's Hammer by Niven if that appeals. Get yourself lost in the troubles of others.
