Ann, lol. I am an *incurable* romantic! Not that I myself am--I'm
dull, really--but I like a good romance as long as it doesn't get real
mushy lol. My favorite genre is christian fiction. Lissi gave me 2 big
honkin volumes of that only to have my optacon bite it. When it gets
fixed, I'll scan those--I think they're about 600 pages each. I told
her then I could probably use those as therapy & actually did share
w/her why at the time. I picked up a Dani Ross mystery by Gil
Morrison. I hope I do not encounter the same difficulty. I wish the
bookshare system included ratings for violence, language, & sexual
content like NLS. I realize there's an adult content filter but that's
not the same thing. In fairness to the author of Boundary Waters, he
was not excessive about his description--underplayed it if
anything--it's just I'm too sensitive & too easily upset by that
kind of thing right now. Till this happened I thought I was *sooo*
tough. Seems like every day I'm finding out otherwise. So many
lessons we're put here to learn & such hard ones.
