Robert,

Before you upload the file, you can chek the accuracy stats in Kurzweil
1000 to be sure that you have a good quality scan. The other factor is the
validator. Now that There is a policy on rejecting Fair quality books, the
validators need to make sure that the books are actually good quality.
That's an indication that the validator needs to make in the comments field.
It would be my understanding that Bookshare will not automatically reject
books that are of a certain quality but will need to rely on submitters' and
validators' judgment. Both will have to justify in the comments field when
he/she is indicating to the administrator that a particular book is being
accepted despite its apparently low rating by the automated tools.

We can choose the rating when we submit but is Bookshare going to leave this

alone since they want 98 per cent or higher? I have kurzweil set at 97.5 per

cent and the reason being the quality of the print or misspell words.
