The book wasn't the problem. I have about a list of things that were piled
on my list of things to do and I have about 1 month to do 2 years worth of
work.

We can't take over one another's scans, but Evan will scan my copy of "Down
to the Bonny Glen and I'll proofread it. I'm sorry this book gave you so
much trouble. Maybe the margins were too narrow, the pages yellowed or any
number of problems interfered with your scan. Stick around and keep your ear
to the list. The next book you try could be much easier. It might help to
ask the librarian for books with relatively standardized chapter headings
and no illustrations.

Can anybody take over the book? I have a lot of things that got piled up on
my desk to do and I will be at least 3 months out before I can even finish
it. Besides, the book is due back on 9/11 and there isn't any way I can get
it done before then anyways.
