I remember reading Jamaica Inn when I was in the ninth grade and I was
totally enthralled. It was actually a braille book - you know the kind with
hard covers and multiple volumes? I remember that we all thought it was
kind of mysterious and riskay, and so of course, we all wanted to read it.
I think I looked at it as an adult and wondered what all the fuss was about.
Still, it's a classic! I haven't thought about it for years.
