Hi all,

Oh, yes, by all means, we need those old gothics to round out the collection. Rebecca, Frenchman's Creek and so on. Yes, yes and yes. Wasn't there a Jamaika Inn or something; all by Daphne du Maurier. ? I remember reading those in high school when I was reading Mary Stewart too, not her Arthuriana but her gothics; The Gabriel Hounds, Airs Above The Ground, Madam Will You Talk and my favorite of all time, This Rough Magic. The Mystery Book Club read Nine Coaches Waiting for its second meeting back last fall.

If we're missing any Phyllis Whitney or Victoria Holt, (sp) we might want to get those too. Oh, hmmm, Madeleine Brant, I think that's who it was, hmmm, Moonraker's Bride? Yeh, all good books. Not modern, but not hard reads, just plain old gothics.
