Reading the title Wings of the Falcon yesterday
reminded me of a wonderful book I read a while ago,
The Flight of the Falcon, by Daphne du Maurier. When I
checked the bookshare collection, I discovered we
don't have any of her books--Rebecca, My Cousin
Rachel, The Scapegoat, Frenchman's Creek...

I admit that the Flight of the Falcon is the only one
I've read, though I saw the movie Rebecca. I may have
read it and forgotten--when I read I visualize and so
later I can't remember if I read or saw something.

How to describe her books--mysterious, romantic,
suspenseful, historical settings, somewhat
psychological in a way. They're classics and we should
have them in the collection. I'd be glad to validate
any of them, though if there are others who want to
I'll read them. I'm adding them to my list of books to
read right now. right now.
