Bear in mind that their statement is still perfectly consistent with
over-reliance on check valves being the problem. They word their
statements *very* carefully, sometimes specifically slanting them to
encourage jumping to incorrect conclusions, so you must read them for
precise literal meaning and resist the temptation to infer things they
don't actually say.
