Hmmm, that's interesting. I scanned the "official" instructions for the CRT lens into a text file a couple years ago, but there wasn't anything about using a screwdriver inside it. Interesting, all the things we find out. By the way, there's a bunch of optacon documentation on the Freedom Scientific site; they fixed optacons for a while after TSI and Blazie stopped supporting optacon repair, and they have the training materials in PDF files too, so it can be printed out.
