Indeed this is very sad news.
To clarify, since the previous message was garbled from
Catherine's fingers being misplaced on her keyboard,
Richard's wife's name is Marilyn.
It was almost exactly a year ago that we last chatted with
Marilyn, when she and Richard joined us, to help my wife and
me celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
Although she was in a wheelchair, Marilyn appeared to be
happy and feeling fairly good at that time.
The pandemic has made her long illness and passing even more
difficult for Richard to deal with.
