Brian and list, I've used those techniques for distinguishing checks from deposit slips and order forms in a checkbook; it's second nature for those of us who have used the optacon for this, since, as Brian pointed out, it's useless to type on a deposit slip or other checkbook page that looks like a check but isn't.
