This was not a change, but an experiment. The google site won't allow the 'freelist site' to sign up as a member and thus sync all of the posts. The Freelist site works fine, but does not allow attachments, thus my suggestion to use both, the google site as a bulletin board. I didn't know about the google site until last month when I was looking for a way to send the members the results of the application survey.
