Paul, have a look at Elgato (or eyetv hybrid). I use it to take video
clips and very good sound off my TV. I bought it about three years ago
and I found the price was not of the give-away kind.
I have since seen ads of gizmos like the Elgato tool but at a much
better priced.
The Future Shop or Best Buy certainly will have such things.
