It has approx 85-90% of the elements that Photoshop has, most of most  
users don't use anyway.
I've used Elements for years; version 2, 3 & now 4. It is great for  
touching up really old photos & there is an Auto Adjustment which  
works 90% of the time. Saves a lot of time & aggravation!
Making Collages is a dream. The only negative I have is that when you  
make a slide show every slide lasts for the same amount of time,  
whereas iPhoto 6 allows you to determine each slides' time.
Photoshop Elements is worth every penny.
