Two martin colonies on my BBS route in Floyd county were, by 10:30 that
morning, practically living in water features on the properties. I hope
they made it.

I took 6 nestlings that were on the ground to the SPWRC on three different
trips and found 2 nearly ready to fledge dead on the ground. There is no
telling how many carcases I will find when I take down the houses when they
all leave in July. Adults are still feeding a bunch of younguns.
I actually saw one dive bomb off the south side of the traditional house
into the alley!
