Greetings All:
After hanging out at Clapp Park, I headed over to Lake Six for a couple of
hours and then checked out the riparian corridor below Lake Six for another
hour.
Lake Six kicked out the following highlights: 2 Blue-winged Teals, 2 House
Wrens, 3 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, 1 Brown Thrasher,
1 Yellow Warbler, 1 Orange-crowned Warbler, 1 Nashville Warbler, 4
Wilson's Warbler, 2 Yellow-breasted Chats, 1 Cassin's Sparrow, 2 Chipping
Sparrows, 6 Clay-colored Sparrows, 1 Brewer's Sparrow, and 1 female Painted
Bunting.
The area below Lake Six kicked out 1 immature Black-chinned Hummingbird, 1
House Wren, 2 Carolina Wrens, 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 2 Nashville
Warblers, 1 Yellow Warbler, and 3 Wilson's Warblers.
With even better chances of rain tonight, I am hoping for some more goodies
tomorrow.
