Female Red-winged Blackbird. One fooled me Sunday real close up. "It's

Subject: [leasbirds] Clapp Bird ID Help
My husband and I took a walk around Clapp today, and there were two birds
I hadn't seen before. The first one I think is a White-faced Ibis, which
we saw on the back playa on the north side of the nature trail. The second
was on the south east corner of the reeds. I haven't been able to figure
out what it is. I've attached photos below. Any help on these ids would
be greatly appreciated!
Our backyard has had two Barn Swallows on Friday, a Western Kingbird on
Friday and Saturday, and yesterday, a Mississippi Kite flying overhead in
the morning and afternoon.
Thanks,
Nancy
