- OK, here is the deal with the products that were there. Since i removed the messed up images the items were just "plain" so they were put into the "pending" category and removed from display. This must be a new feature.

From the help peeps.
Why is my product labeled PENDING? And why doesn't it show up in my store?

To sell a product, you must first design it. A product will remain in PENDING status, and not show up in your store, until you place at least one image on the product.
