- That is how I totaled my Oldsmobile back in January of 2004 during one of the snow storms. I was traveling northbound on 55 and just past the St Mary's exit, I lost control and hit a small tree off the shoulder, then the Olds and I went down a very steep hill. The only injuries that I received was a nasty bruise on the side of my head and when I cut my hand on the glass shards climbing out of the back window, I was very lucky. -ryan On 3/21/07, Robert Oelschlaeger <roelschlaeger@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > - > Thanks, Bernie. > Read the Snopes note referenced by Bernie at > http://www.snopes.com/autos/techno/wetroad.asp > > Bob (aka roelsch) > > On 3/21/07, M.
