I guess it might be a good time to mention that there is another
option to single emails. That is the "digest" mode. In "digest" you
will not get each post individually but the list will save all the
email of the day and send one big email during the night that will
contain all the posts together. Some folks like the digest mode but
you will always be a day behind everyone else.

This will stop the emails until you get back and turn off the vacation mode. You can view the missed messages by looking through the archives.
