[GeoStL] Nuvi assistance please...

I'm trying to find a way to create a custom route on my new Nuvi 200 series
GPS.
What I have done is create waypoints in Mapsource, save as a GPX file, use a
POI loader to enter the locations into the Nuvi. I then pick a destination
and then insert my points as via locations. When I create the waypoints I've
just been using a number for them instead of a name. That way I can enter
them a via location 1, location 2 and so on.
Is there an easier way to accomplish the same thing?
I have been known to do things the hard way....
