As someone who does this for a living, I recommend only two products:
Ad-Aware (Lavasoft), and Spybot Search& Destroy
(http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/).
There are a number of "antispyware" products being SOLD out there right
now which are themselves both spyware and trojans - so be VERY careful
what you use!
