Yes you are not the only one to tell me they want to come but cannot make
it. I am willing to do it again.

I have made about 20 extra copies. I have some placed in some Alton IL
Caches. I hope to get some in a couple of STL area caches today. Hopefully
others at lunch can help out. I will send a message of which caches they
are in tonight. Everyone is also encouraged to share and copy the CDs.

The CDs have directions. It is pretty simple. Basically, you copy some
files to your hardrive (the hardest and most important thing is to copy them
to the correct location-if you don't have them in the right location, it
does not work), you double click on a couple of files to enter data into the
registry, and if you want the trails to be thin red lines (which you should
as you can see them much easier), you have to run a program on the CD. I
tell you what to enter to run the program. That is all there is to setting
it up. (There are also directions on how to update the maps and add new
maps. It is also very simple to do.)

So most people should be able to install them themselves. But I realize
some people prefer help and I am willing to help. I also realize some
people are a bit hesitant when you have to enter something into the
registry.

One thing I hope is people will start contributing to the trail maps. As
you will see the STL Area map already has over 1000 segments of trails and
1000 POIs. I hope others will start GPSing trails or even parts of trails
(and POIs not on City Navigator) and send them to me. I can then add them
to the trail map for all to use.
