- The whole idea of dropping and retrieving TBs and coins "for milage" is foofooed but generally accepted. Personally I've never understood it and = would only drop a bug if i left it behind. How about distributing printed pages= of coins at events for people to discover even when they never actually touc= hed or saw the coin?? but i feel we're splitting hairs ... so ... Can someone tell me the story of Steve's LOTEC cache? http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=3DGCKQ54&log=3Dy And how did so many people log GCKAH3 50+ times in one day? Some of them = i recognize as SLAGA Leadership Team and premier area cachers. I know their= logs say MOGA #1 Moga #2 etc, but, if all these MOGA caches were not published= then there seems to be an appearance of impropriety. I know it's not a competition, and it's not about the numbers, and i've contradicted my previous post on this thread, but we seem to be discussin= g honour among thieves .... ------ Original Message ------ Received: Fri, 16 Mar 2007 08:08:58 PM EDT From: "Robert Oelschlaeger" <roelschlaeger@xxxxxxxxx> To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoStL] Re: Geocaching Ethics Question - "Adam, wouldn't you like to have a taste of this luscious-looking apple?"= -- I'm sure the story went something like that. I agree with Kevin. I've been deleting this thread when it popped up once= , twice and then a third time. The TBs weren't in the caches, they can't be logged as having been there (unless your name is Foo Foo the Snoo). That's my 2=A2 worth. It's a shame that they went all that distance and can only log having visited a virtual cache, but that's what happens sometimes :-( Bob (aka roelsch) On 3/16/07, kolaughlin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <kolaughlin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > - > If It was me, I log them all in the v-cache and then log them all out. > That > the only cache you did.
