That's awesome video. I got lucky a couple of weeks ago and went
there shortly after a big rain and got to see it like that in person.
The lake's been quite high lately-sometimes I can paddle my kayak over
areas that are normally dry ground. Lots of active wildlife there, too.
A couple of CCL notes: the lake (not the surrounding park) is closed
next weekend for powerboat races. Also, there are some upcoming
events on the lake where you can rent a boat and go for a nighttime
paddle. Events on the lake are posted on St. Louis County parks site.
