Hi guys, I know I haven't posted here in a very, very long time,
but I'm still alive and well, and back with something to share.
I have noticed that even as of KeySoft 9.5 for the BrailleNote
Apex, POP and SMTP ports are set to 110 and 25, and prompts for
some security settings are still set to no by default. So I
decided to produce this modified KLT file for you guys to use.
Have fun with it. This KLT does the following.
*Sets all secure connection prompts for POP and SMTP servers to
yes by default.
*Sets POP and SMTP ports to 995 and 465, and makes a note in the
help message that you may need to try 587 if 465 doesn't work.
To use it, detach the KLT, and place it in the KeyMail folder on
the flash disk. There is no need to worry about your current
accounts, because that is in a CDB file that is not touched in
this case.
Have fun with this, as pointless as it might be for some people.
