I had one unpleasant experience flying with the Apex. Seems that while inspecting the Apex, one of the security personnel failed to re-secure my GPS receiver in its attached case; thus it fell out near where I was seated. I heard passengers talking about this device they'd found and wondering what it was for. I checked my Apex, which I had with me, and noticed the empty receiver case. I was not pleased. I politely asked my fellow passengers to show me what they were looking at, stating that a device for my Braille display was missing. Once I had it, I reinserted it into the case, snapped it shut, and explained to the passengers that it was a small GPS receiver that I used with my Braille display. I'm just glad it fell out in the plane, so that it was noticed within earshot, and I could easily get it back. I certainly could have replaced it if necessary, but I'm glad it didn't come to that. -- Rick ------------------------------- BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
