The problem is I can't get into it. The unit either frezes at the boot
prosses or on the lock screen depending on if the SD card is in or not.

Are you talking about the Touch? If so, you have to go to Android Settings, Backup and Reset, and then find the factory data reset.

I have had this problem once before, but some how the problem seemed to
have fixed itself. How eveer, the problem has reterned and now it will
not boot unless I remove the external SD Card. Even so, the locks up and
you have to hard poweroff the device. Someone posted directions from
Grege stillson on how to fix this. It invaulves formating the Internal
SD card, but I how ever dop not have that opsion in the support mode. I
have tried doing a file/factory reset removing all user settings, but
nothing. Is there something I am missing or does my unit need to go
back to hw for repare? Thanks.
