Dear all,

I hope this doesn't seem too off-topic, but I'm contemplating exchanging my BrailleNote for a more up-to-date note-taker and am wondering if anyone might advise me as to what options I might consider. I love the BrailleNote's portability and the easy access to Braille it provides, but because of the unreliability of keymail and keyword and because of keyweb's lack of usability, I'm reaching the sad conclusion that it simply may not be equipped to meet my needs. While I hope that HumanWare will correct some of these issues (the corrupted databases, the deleted files, the endless security alert dialogs, etc), after twelve years as a BrailleNote user, I'm beginning to seriously doubt it. In any event, if anyone would be willing to suggest comparable alternatives, feel free to email me off-list.

Thank you!

Lucy
