I have been reluctant to enter this conversation because I may not be that
heloful even though I do have a camera based scanner called an Irisscan
Desk 5 Pro. The problem is I only used it a few times then moved and where
I am living now I dont have enough room to set up the computer and
scanner. What I can say is that it works and its ocr program can export to
rtf. Quality of the scan I cannot say much about untilI I can use it more
and that will not likely be for several months.

as if they wuldn't be useful for my purposes; you raise some good
points; I was looking for something that would enable me to put the print

when comparing it with the scan; in the process of my moving out of my
homes to this assisted living facility the 2 book holders I'd been using
disappeared;
