Hi, Shelley! Do you have any info on these displays? I'd like to read about them. I remember talking with a man about one a couple of years ago, but I never knew what happened with it. Thanks!

Actually they are working on very economical mutlip cell multi line braille
displays, several are in the testing phase.

display, we only have one line of text in however many cells our display
has, so unless they can display a whole picture on one line...? <smile> Take

Thanks Kaitlyn and Sarah. I shall eliminated them as I go along. I did avoid scanning the ones that were in the margins or at the bottom or top, but was surprised at how clean and nice the ones in the middle between sections of text looked. Ah, well. Perhaps some day technology will get to the point where illustrations can be included and raised in some way so that the blind can "see" them with touch.
