Remaindered means that the bookstore has decided to dump the titles in it's 
inventory at an extremely low price (hardbacks), often below paperback prices.
Barnes and Noble has shelves of this kind of thing and there are often fairly 
good buys to be had.

  Remaindered? Do you mean having the binding cut? If so, no, I don't have a 
document feeder. But I've got one of those lovely old legal-sized HP scanners, 
so I can at least scan two pages at a time. I'm gratified that there will be 
people interested in reading this book.
