I have often wanted a way to read books from NLS on my PC. they are
testing some places with new equipment, they are converting some books.
When can the books be read on the PC in a format other than Braille?
I do not have a Braille display and cannot afford to buy one! I am
currently unemployed. Have tried to become a tester, but haven't heard
from the lady I contacted!
I hate NLS players they do not work very long and are cheaply made. I
have a handi cassette for recording and playing books, but I'd rather
use my PC if I could. Does anyone know how to access NLS books if you
do not have a Braille display?
I have an open book, though. Would that work?
