I hate to admit that I don't know how to do this, but in Kurzweil how do you assure that the page number is at the left margin. Jill ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mayrie ReNae" <mrenae@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Evan,

You are right, that the issue of blank lines surrounding page numbers has been put to rest. Jake, a member of Bookshare staff, sent the relevant section of the volunteer manual stating that blank lines around page numbers are preferred.

Peace,

As to the position: I tend to just leave them where they are. But some here have given good reasons for putting them at the top.

Before the weekend, a couple people said they would experiment and
determine the answer as to how best to position page numbers, i.e., at the
very top of the page (or bottom) or with a blank line between the number
and the page break. I am very anxious to know the answer, as I'm about
done validating something (unless I have to go back through and add blank
lines.)
Thanks.
