Hi all,
Well, maybe if we went at this in another way? What types of errors
are your books being rejected for? Good, in Bookshare-speak, means
that the text is legible, but it has many scanos and/or other problems
like section breaks instead of page breaks. It may have headers left
in and other things. Good means about a C if you were grading it. If
you don't have the time to devote to "good" books, then only choose
books with the excellent rating.
Thing that concerns me is that I wrote to a scanner and never got an
answer back. I had to reject the book because I couldn't correct the errors.
My best advice is to stay away from "good" rated books. BTW, the
conversion tool isn't used till after the book's been proofed. So
whatever errors you've been getting, they are from the scanner.
