Jim Ken expressed my exact sentiments. I view the stripper as doing so much damage in some instances that it renders many, otherwise well-prepared books, of little use to students or researchers. And if you are targeting the student market, books devoid of chapter headings, correct page references, and the like will be a real turn off. It matters little for pleasure or cassual reading, but it matters a lot if one is going to use BookShare books in study groups and the like. I understand what the stripper does and why it has value in the preparation of Daisy books, but we need some form of 3rd download option that gives us nonstripped books.
